            jonagoldjonagoldjonagold = Excellent

This cross between a Golden Delicious and a Jonathan was developed in New York, and has become very popular as a good all-around apple. Jonagold's are usually big, they have a thin skin and are very juicy. Their tart-sweet flavor makes them an excellent eating apple, but also gives them a tartness that works well in baking and juice. Jonagold's harvest locally in October, and due to limited supply and very high demand sell quickly at the Barn.
